  1. Installation instructions for KwikDraw may also be found in the 
  2. manual.  The manual is included on the distribution disk as a 
  3. Microsoft Write file:  manual.wri
  4.  
  5. Microsoft Write is the word processor that comes free with
  6. Microsoft Windows.
  7.  
  8. To install KwikDraw:
  9.  
  10. 1) Copy all files off the distribution disk to a subdirectory
  11.    of your choice on your hard disk.  For example:
  12.  
  13.        C> copy a:*.* c:\kwikdraw\*.*
  14.  
  15. 2) Install the file kwikdraw.exe into a Program Group of your
  16.    choice in the Windows Program Manager, as follows:
  17.  
  18.       2a)  Run the Windows Program Manager and open up one
  19.            of the Program Groups.
  20.       2b)  Select "New" from the File menu. The "New Program 
  21.            Object" dialog box will pop-up.
  22.       2c)  The "Program Item" radio button should be checked.
  23.            Press the "OK" button.  The "Program Item Properties"
  24.            dialog box will pop-up.  Type "KwikDraw" in the
  25.            Description field.
  26.       2d)  Press the "Browse" Button.  The "Browse" dialog box
  27.            will pop-up.
  28.       2e)  Locate kwikdraw.exe using the directory and file
  29.            windows.  Select kwikdraw.exe in the file window.
  30.       2f)  Press the "OK" button on the "Browse" dialog and then
  31.            press the "OK" button on the "Program Item Properties"
  32.            dialog.

  34. 3) You may now run KwikDraw by double-clicking the KwikDraw icon.
  35.    You may also run KwikDraw using the Run option on the Program 
  36.    Manager File menu.
